Our Vermont Farmstand is a bustling market handling fresh fruits and vegetables and related farm products as well as a retail store operation and an in-house 
bakery. From the earliest days of spring throughout the days of winter, you will find things to delight your senses and displays to enjoy. Sam Mazza's Vermont farm is now in its fifth generation of growing and serving the Colchester community and remains a family farm operation. It is our goal to provide our Vermont customers with a quality product and a pleasant shopping experience, all with a personal touch.
Depending on the time of the year you visit Sam Mazza's Farmstand, you will see, smell and hear all our attractions that we have to offer visitors to the stand! June is strawberry season in New England, and nothing quite says summer's here like strawberry shortcake piled high with whipped cream and featuring ripe, juicy Vermont strawberries. With an addition of our in-house bakery, baking powder biscuits and you have a real winner! You have the option to pick your own strawberries or buy them from the farmstand at a reasonable cost. In addition to shortcakes, we have many Mazza recipes for you to enjoy during strawberry season in Vermont.
Farmstand Specialties & Wholesale Vegetables
We have been made famous by growing some of the best tasting Super Sweet Corn and the best tasting varieties of Tomatoes for our customers in Vermont.
Our Greenhouse Tomatoes become available as early as April and Sweet Corn as early as June in Vermont.
We also raise and sell many other Vermont vegetable crops, such as summer squash, eggplant, zucchini, many varieties of peppers, green beans, cucumbers and a variety of winter squashes. Some of our produce is wholesaled to other Vermont markets and stores in the New England area.
Bakery and Retail
We are open year-round and in addition to what our farm grows, Mazza's Bakery turns out luscious pies, breads, muffins, cookies, fudge and other delicious treats daily. Everything is always fresh from the oven when you visit the our in store Bakery.
You will also be delighted by a full section of gift items, Vermont-Made products, Yankee candles and gift accessories. Visit our complete garden center which brings you beautiful planters, baskets and other garden items.
We also ship gift baskets of Vermont products and gift items to friends and family across the country all year long.
